Tommy Wiseau Double Feature Tommy Wiseau’s 2003 film The Room is the best bad movie ever made. Written, directed, and produced by Wiseau, who also stars in it, the film has earned cult favorite status thanks to its perfect combination of bizarre writing, terrible acting, and gratuitous sex scenes. Can lightning strike again? Wiseau released his latest project, Big Shark, in 2023. We haven’t seen it yet, but it looks like Wiseau’s take on Jaws, which sounds promising. The Room co-star Greg Sestero will be on hand at this Redford Theatre screening for a special Q&A. Starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21 at the Redford Theatre, 17360 Lahser Rd., Detroit; redfordtheatre.com. Tickets are $30.
